Corporate Adopt-A-Site Sponsorships
An important cornerstone of the tax assistance program is the Adopt-a-Site sponsorships, in which corporations and other groups adopt a specific location and enroll their employee-volunteers to prepare tax returns for low-income families. Many groups, made up of colleagues from work, school, or local communities, have found the Adopt-A-Site to be fun as well as rewarding.

Hundreds of volunteers come from Adopt-a-Site sponsors such as Masco Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, DTE Energy,  GM Tech Center, Comerica, National Association of Black Accountants, Michigan Associaiton of CPAs, The Private Bank, and students at Oakland University and University of Michigan-Dearborn.

We provide training at your site, with the goal of having caring people from your group completely staff one of our 20-plus tax sites for a minimum of three consecutive Saturdays. It's a great way to build leadership and team skills while giving back to the community.

The Michigan Association of CPAs is one of our Adopt-a-Site partners. Click here for their 2009 video:
