How the Tax Assistance Program Can Help You

Each year, Accounting Aid Society helps more than 12,000 low and moderate income people file their taxes and get the refunds they are owned and the tax credits they have earned. Accounting Aid Society is a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) partner with the IRS and does not charge fees for those who meet our income guidelines:

Individuals with annual household income of $20,000 or less

Families with annual household incomes of $42,00 or less.

Here is a helpful four-page tax guide to help low and moderate income clients.  It is "A Month-by-Month Planning Guide for Preparing Your 2008 Income Taxes" and is prepared and copyrighted by Accounting Aid Society.
